Public Notice - Oct 20, 2023

There has been an increase in auto thefts in Warren, Montgomery, Clermont, and Clinton Counties over the past several months. A few vehicles have been stolen from the Village of Waynesville and we strongly encourage everyone to lock their vehicles and homes at night and when not in use. A subsequent investigation determined that all these vehicles were unlocked at the point of entry and the vehicle’s keys were left in them. We believe this is a vehicle theft ring out of Dayton and they have taken vehicles from several neighboring jurisdictions.
