Sawyer Building Architectural Salvage Sale
354 South Main
June 11, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
After much deliberation, the Village of Waynesville has decided the most sensible and economically feasible action is to demolish the Sawyer Building (Water Distribution Station) and rebuild a newer, more efficient one. This building has become too costly to operate and would cost the Village an exorbitant amount to repair it. The Village plans to preserve and reuse the original bricks from the Sawyer Building on the new station. Furthermore, there will be a temporary water hauling station available for those depending on bulk water during this transition.
In the interest of preserving part of the history of the building, the Village will be holding an architectural salvage sale. A walk-through for those interested will be June 11, 2020 from 1-3. We will ask for offered amounts on items. Please note those who win the bid may be subject to remove the items themselves. Please call 513-897-8015 with any questions.
